PHRA SOMKOR IS CONSIDERED TO BE THE TOP BUDDHIST AMULET OF KAM-PANG-PETCH PROVINCE AND IT IS THE MOST OUTSTANDING IN TERM OF ARTISTIC WORK AS WELL AS HIGH LEVEL OF SPIRITUAL VALUES.

 

PHRA SOMKOR WAS BUILT MORE THAN 500 YEARS AGO IN THE ERA OF PHRA-MAHA-DHAMMA-RACHA-LITHAI ( THE FIFTH KING OF SUKOL-THAI ROYAL FAMILY )

 
THE KING LET HERMITS WITH HIGH LEVEL OF PSYCHIC POWER , CONDUCT INCANTATION CEREMONY ON THESE BUDDHIST AMULETS . THE INGREDIENTS OF PHRA SOOMKOR CONSISTED OF SOILS MIXED WITH BULB PLANTS AND FLOWERS.

 
PHRA SOMKOR HAD CHARACTERISTIC OF SUKOL-THAI ART AND CONTAINED THE PICTURE OF BUDDHA DOING MEDITATION THROUGH SITTING ON LOTUS . ON THE SIDE OF THIS BUDDHIST AMULET , THERE WERE THAI DESIGN LINES SURROUNDING THE BUDDHA .
 
THE EDGE OF THIS BUDDHIST AMULET WAS CURVY LIKE THAI LETTER “KOR” THUS , IT WAS CALLED “PHRA SOMKOR”.

 
THROUGH DIGGING , PHRA SOMKOR WERE FOUND AT VARIOUS PLACES SUCH AS : BHA-ROMMA-TARD TEMPLE , PIKUL TEMPLE, RUE-SRI TEMPLE AND MILLIONAIRE FIELD.
 
PHRA SOMKOR POSSESSED SPIRITUAL VALUES AS FOLLOW:
 
INCREASING CHARMS AND LOVING-KINDNESS , PREVENTING/MISSING ACCIDENT AND PROMOTING SAFETY. APART FROM THESE PHRA SOMKOR ALSO HAD ANOTHER SPECIAL SPIRITUAL VALUE WITH RESPECT TO ENHANCING PROSPERITY AND LUCKS SO MUCH SO THAT THERE WERE SAYINGS SINCE ANCIENT TIMES “IF YOU POSSESSED PHRA SOMKOR , YOU WOULD NEVER BECOME POOR”.
 

此尊中模型甘烹碧顺哥 ” 富贵佛 “乃在泰国甘烹碧府超过五百年的舍利塔里被发现的, 而在舍利塔里也发现了古代先知遗留下的经文: 谓” 如能拥有塔里留下的顺哥或里拉,他的一生都不会落入贫穷和困苦.”   佛像的型体沿自史哥泰朝代和斯里兰卡时代的传承.

而佛像的表层遗留下的钙化痕迹, 需要经过长时间的风霜岁月才能形成, 绝非手工所能仿造.  此或是甘烹碧顺哥佛像能列入泰国五方佛像珍贵的原因之一吧 !

十二因缘法轮-出舍利塔佛牌

Twelve Links of Dependent Arising (十二因緣法). The principle that explains why and how a sentient being continues to be reborn according to karma. Each link is the main condition for the next one to arise. These twelve links are;

(1) ignorance, “无明” (2) karmic actions, “行” (3) consciousness, “识” (4) name and form, “名、色” (5) six faculties, “六入” (6) contact with sense objects, “触”

(7) sensory reception, “受” (8) love, “爱” (9) grasping, “取” (10) karmic force for being, “有” (11) birth, and “生” (12) old age and death. Links “老死”

(1)–(2) refer to the afflictions and karmic seeds from previous lives, links

(3)–(7) refer to the karmic fruit in the present life, links

(8)–(10) refer to karmas in the present life, and links

(11)–(12) refer to the karmic fruit in the next life. In this sequence, the twelve links connect one’s lives from the past to the present, continuing to the future. With ignorance, one goes from affliction to karma to suffering, continuing the endless spiral of birth and death. By ending ignorance one will disengage the remaining eleven links and end one’s cycle of birth and death.

【十二因緣的意義】

一、無明:癡暗義。闇鈍之心,無照察諸法事理之慧,不能了知善惡因果,是貪瞋癡等煩惱的通稱。

二、行:造作義。由於無明煩惱,而發動身、口造作種種行為,善行稱為善業,惡行稱為惡業,所以行又稱為業,有了業行就要受報。

三、識:因過去世的無明煩惱和善、惡諸業,引生分別染心,即為識。例如人死後,神識成中陰身(註2),見到父母交合,一剎那間,生起憎愛分別之心,即投胎受生,這就是識的作用。

四、名色:名是指精神、心識,色是指物質。胎兒在母胎中,六根尚未長成,唯有心識與胎形,即稱為名色。

五、六入:即眼、耳、鼻、舌、身、意六根,因色、聲、香、味、觸、法六塵由此六處而入。故胎兒在母體內,六根逐漸完備的階段,稱為六入。

六、觸:即接觸。胎兒出胎後,六根與外在塵境接觸,就稱為「觸」。

七、受:即領受。為根、塵、識相接觸所生的感受,可分為苦受、樂受、捨受。對於違逆境界,身心感覺苦痛、煩惱,稱為苦受;對順益之境,感覺身心適悅,稱為樂受;對中庸境(註3),覺不苦也不樂,稱為中庸受,又稱為捨受。

八、愛:貪染名愛。於喜好的境界,產生種種欲愛、貪愛之心。

九、取:執取境界,說名為取。心生愛著之後,更想取得、佔為己有,即為取。

十、有:因為想佔有,便以種種手段,造作種種善業、惡業,故有未來的善惡諸報,名為有。

十一、生:即未來世的受生。由於今生貪愛、取著而造業,即招感來世受生的果報。

十二、老死:衰變為老,身壞命終為死。有生則必有老、死。

【生死流轉門】

十二因緣的道理,顯明過去、現在、未來三世起惑、造業、受苦的因果關係。

因有「無明」煩惱,而於過去世造作諸業「行」,故由「識」託胎,進而有「名色」,接著形成「六入」,出生時與外境接「觸」,便產生種種感「受」,由此 起貪「愛」、執「取」,又復「有」未來之果報,繼續於來世受「生」,終至「老死」。眾生因無明不覺,而生死相續,永無休止,稱為十二因緣生死流轉門。

十二因缘又是一个连环钩锁,相互牵连的关系。更有 流转门和 还灭门。上面所讲的就是流转门的十二因缘道理。辟支佛在小乘圣人中称为利根。他们听到佛说十二因缘流转门的互相关系,互为因果的道理,觉悟到无明这一支,正是十二支因缘中间苦因苦果的总根源。无明一灭掉,所有其他的十一支因缘就会一起断灭了。因此辟支佛就下定决心来斩断无明。譬喻砍树一样,先砍树根,树根一断,而整棵大树,便自然倒下。无明灭才能复还真性,灭除烦恼,所以叫做 还灭门。这就是缘觉圣人所修的十二因缘的道理。

【十二因緣與三世二重因果的關係】
偈曰:「無明愛取三煩惱 (惑),行有二支屬業道 (業),從識至受並生死,七支同名一苦道 (苦)。」此即說明十二因緣與惑業苦及三世因果之關係。

【聖道還滅門】

眾生因一念不覺起惑,因而造業、受報。故知,若欲消除三障諸煩惱,則須知因識果,瞭解此 十二支層層相因的關係。仔細推之,來世有「老死」之苦,皆因有「生」之故,會繼續受生,皆因今生感「有」未來之報,此「有」因「執」取而生,執「取」因有 「愛」之緣故,「愛」皆由種種感「受」而起,感「受」之起因為六根接「觸」塵境,「觸」因「六入」而生,「六入」由「名色」長成,「名色」因心識託胎而 有,心「識」由過去世造作諸業「行」所致,業「行」起源於「無明」煩惱。

追根究底,無明是生死流轉的根源,所以要了生死,即須破除無明。無明若滅,其後相續而起之因緣亦隨之而滅。所謂無明滅則行滅,行滅則識滅,識滅 則名色滅,名色滅則六入滅,六入滅則觸滅,觸滅則受滅,受滅則愛滅,愛滅則取滅,取滅則有滅,有滅則生滅,生滅則老死滅。此乃行者欲逆生死流、得證解脫聖 道所修,故稱十二因緣聖道還滅門,屬於聖者的境界。

【結語】

十二因緣生死流轉門為世間之因果,聖道還滅門為出世間之因果。所謂凡聖殊途,若流轉於三界生死中,始終是凡夫,不得解脫;倘能破除無明煩惱,依還滅門修習聖道,則能轉愚成智,永入聖道之流。
